Powder coating your infrastructure, building structures or commercial projects is a cost (and time) effective alternative for wet paint. Powder coating gives your product a quality finished look, and with over 200 colours available, the possibilities for customisation are endless.

Apart from the huge range of colours, powders come in gloss, satin and matt finishes.

Certain powders are UV stable and others are not. Some powders come with 10 year and others have a 25-year film integrity warranty.

Our powder coating process involves treating, sandblasting and powder spraying your metal in decorative coloured powder, which is then baked and sealed for a glossy, chip resistant finish that will stand the test of time. Powder coating involves a 4-step process:

  1. Treating your metal structures (steel, aluminium etc), and frames in our chemical baths for maximum etch. Our pre-treatments are customised to the environmental conditions your metal will be facing, and which type of metal you’re coating.
  2. Sandblasting rusted steel, to remove any scratches, rust or old paint.
  3. Coating your metal in a protective Epoxy primer or ZN Primes that gets baked on.
  4. Powder spraying the topcoat colour on and baking it our at 200 degrees Celsius.

Our facilities are large enough to handle most commercial, industrial and automotive powder coating and sandblasting projects, and with our team’s combined sixty years of experience, our turnaround from quote to delivery of a final product is second to none.

All work is has a 12 month workmanship warranty and is adherent to Australian Standard 4506 – 2005. We can also offer corrosion warranties of 5 years, and 10 years on steel product and aluminium products. (purchasing of warranties must be discussed before work commences).

    Care and Maintenance

Maintaining the integrity of your powder coated products is just like caring for your car – You would not leave your car exposed to the elements and never wash or clean it and expect the paint work not to show deterioration. The same with powder coating, it needs regular cleaning and maintenance to maintain the durability of the powder coating. A regular wash with warm soapy water will ensure a long-lasting finish. Make sure you test soap on small area before applying to the whole product.

The following is recommended to care for and Maintaina your product:

Over time with exposure to the elements, powder coatings may show signs of weathering such as loss of gloss, chalking and slight colour change. A simple regular clean will minimise the effects of weathering and will remove dirt, grime and other build-up detrimental to all powder coatings.
